The Unicorn, the famous ship of the Knight of Haddock, appears in The Secret of the Unicorn.“
This magnificent figurine is part of the collection inspired by the original poster for the 1979 exhibition, The Imaginary Museum of Tintin. The Unicorn is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity and will fascinate both experienced Tintin Fans and Freshwater Sailors.
“In June 1979, a major exhibition, intended to then travel, was inaugurated at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels. The detail of its content escapes Hergé, but its designers explained to him that it was a question of comparing the mythical objects collected by Tintin during his adventures with the real objects which inspired them. On the exhibition poster, Hergé attempts to organize the incursion of his main characters into the middle of an imaginary installation likely to drive all collectors crazy with jealousy. » Excerpt: Chronology of a work – volume 7.
