This adventure, Cigars of the Pharoah seems to just show us one treasure after another. We get introduced to Senhor Oliveira da Figueira …from Lisbon! Please say this with a slight lisp so you get the essence of this charming big-hearted character.

Hergé just had a knack of creating larger than life people to fill his stories. And Oliveira is just that, he may only be an excellent salesman in this adventure but just keep your eye open for his other appearances in later ones. The outcome of this meeting with Oliveira is that Tintin walks away with an assortment of bizarre items! Meticulously modelled here in this amazing little piece.
