Players take turns assuming the role of Sheriff throughout the game. When you are the Sheriff, you can inspect any number of merchant bags, or even decide not to inspect any bags!

Yet, Prince John has proclaimed such goods are “contraband” and has the Sheriff of Nottingham confiscating any of these goods he finds! | Load your Merchant BagAfter deciding upon the goods that you would like to take to market, place them into your bag, and snap it closed. Next, you will declare what is in your bag to the Sheriff! |
As a merchant, your goal is to convince the Sheriff to let you in – by any means
