Quick and Flupke is a series of Belgian children’s comics created by Hergé. The series were published in the pages of the newspaper Le Petit Vingtième from 20 January 19301.
The two heroes are street children in Brussels, and are named Quick and Flupke (diminutives for, respectively, Patrick and Philippe in Brabant). Both boys cause serious trouble by accident, which gets them into trouble with their parents and the police, especially Agent 15 (although he is occasionally their accomplice). They like to make all kinds of useless and dangerous devices such as roller planes or gliders.
