This chase with twists and turns stops in a small village where Haddock crosses the main road to go to the tobacconist’s shop. A shrill screech followed by a frightful bang resounds! The captain has just been hit by a powerful sports car. The car in question is a Lancia Aurelia B20 faithfully reproduced by Hergé. This grand touring coupé owes its elegant lines to Felice Mario Boano, revised by the great coachbuilder Pinin Farina. In addition to this sleek line, a powerful V6 engine made this car a racing beast.
